What you will do
- Execute AML-focused audit procedures covering Customer Identification Programs, KYC files, and beneficial ownership documentation.
- Evaluate controls for transaction monitoring, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Currency Transaction Reporting.
- Assess BSA/AML models and verify that systems operate as intended.
- Prepare audit documentation and reporting related to AML controls and risks.
- Research regulatory developments and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.
- Partner with audit team members to identify AML-related risks during broader engagements.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of AML experience in a bank, consulting firm, or financial services institution.
- Knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and relevant FinCEN guidelines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and compliance platforms.
- CAMS certification is highly desirable.
