Software Engineer Intern (London, United Kingdom) (Summer 2027)

Location: London, England; based out of the London Hub with in-person onboarding required. Start dates: May 3, May 17, June 1, or June 14, 2027.

What you will do

• Join a small engineering team as a full member with an individual project and mentor.
• Build, document, and maintain product features, tools, tests, or infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to plan features and timelines.
• Participate in peer code reviews and share feedback.
• Ship the completed project by the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Write clean code in at least one general-purpose language such as C++, JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Understand core computer science concepts, including data structures and algorithms.
• Have experience solving technical problems through school, work, or personal projects.
• Have experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude.
• Demonstrate curiosity about system design and operation, from infrastructure to user interfaces.
• Communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and be open to feedback and learning.

Nice to have

• Interest in product engineering, platform and infrastructure, security engineering, or exploring different engineering areas.
