Technician (Welding Equipment)

What you will do

• Repair, refurbish, and maintain engine-driven welding equipment, generators, and electric and engine drives.
• Assemble electric, diesel, gas, and propane equipment for rental, including testing and calibration.
• Inspect returned equipment, perform preventative maintenance, update parts, and coordinate parts ordering.
• Repaint and apply decals to welders while maintaining a clean and organized shop.
• Complete repair documentation and occasionally provide on-site service for equipment and customers.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and support branch and field operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver license and good driving record required.
• 0–1 years of related technical experience is preferred; early-career candidates and career changers are welcome.
• Thoroughness, care with technical tasks, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to work with trusted autonomy while staying connected to team goals.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of power-generating and welding equipment.
• Experience with equipment repair and maintenance training.
• Experience using a forklift, pallet jack, or similar shop equipment.
