Beckett Grader (Trading Cards)

Location: Plano, Texas; onsite in the office 5 days per week. Relocation to Dallas may be required if applicable. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Hourly rate: $20.00–$30.00, based on experience, job level, location, and skills. Additional bonuses, commissions, or other compensation may apply.

What you will do

• Authenticate and grade sports, non-sports, gaming, and trading card game cards according to BGS standards and scales.
• Meet daily grading goals and assist with corporate and project orders.
• Train continuously to identify counterfeit, tampered, and altered cards.
• Monitor hobby and market news, trends, and insights relevant to collectibles.
• Support grader training and travel to trade shows.
• Safely handle, secure, and account for valuable merchandise throughout the grading process.

Requirements

• 1–10+ years of card grading experience; professional, dealer, or collector experience is relevant.
• Core knowledge of gaming and trading card games, including vintage cards.
• Understanding of BGS grading standards and the ability to identify counterfeits and alterations.
• Ability to use a jeweler’s loupe and decimal or fractional rulers, read small print, and detect minor imperfections.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to concentrate on repetitive precision tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Hiring process
