What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of data science solutions for enterprise cybersecurity operations.
- Develop data models, machine learning algorithms, pipelines, and automation for security monitoring, threat hunting, UEBA, and cyber defense.
- Ingest, normalize, correlate, and analyze disparate security and enterprise data sources.
- Build predictive risk analysis, threat simulation, indicators of compromise and attack, and cyber incident impact assessment capabilities.
- Create visualizations, dashboards, metrics, and reporting for technical and leadership audiences.
- Integrate analytics with SIEM and SOAR platforms while resolving data quality, architecture, and scalability issues.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field; equivalent additional experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, data project engineering, or software development for data solutions.
- Experience designing technical solutions and leading teams through implementation.
- Programming experience with Python, JSON, C++, Java, R, or Scala, plus Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience developing machine learning methods, cybersecurity data workflows, security automation, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification and eligibility for a Secret clearance are required.
