Energy Supply Chain Consultant (Graduate, 2027) - New York

Location: New York, US; hybrid work with a minimum of 2 office days per week. The role requires travel 60–80% of the time.

Salary: $82,000–$85,000 annual base pay, excluding short-term incentive compensation or commission.

What you will do

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data and synthesize findings into strategic procurement and capital project recommendations.
• Conduct market research on supply and demand factors affecting client decisions.
• Support bidding for large capital project contracts, including pricing analysis, bidder communications, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Use the WoodMac Energy Intelligence Platform to analyze spend, build cost models, forecast escalation, and manage eSourcing events.
• Train clients on WoodMac tools and coordinate with supply chain stakeholders on strategy design and implementation.
• Contribute to project delivery, develop client relationships, and support the broader Supply Chain Consulting team.

Requirements

• Applicable bachelor's degree in engineering, science, supply chain, business, quantitative, statistical, energy, or economics disciplines; candidates must be in their final year of study or hold a relevant professional qualification.
• Role start date: September 2027.
• Must have legal right to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Co-op or internship experience in consulting, supply chain, operations, or engineering.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time and work from the New York office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Experience in the Power & Renewables or Oil & Gas sectors.
