Field Leader Electric Operations - Line

Location: Plymouth, Indiana, United States; candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Salary: $96,600–$144,900 per year

What you will do

• Lead front-line employees and contractors supporting electric transmission and distribution operations.
• Direct emergency response, outage restoration, field damage assessment, and storm recovery activities.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, procedures, and the NIPSCO Safety Manual.
• Coach, develop, train, and evaluate employees while coordinating work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support work planning, resource allocation, operating and maintenance budgets, and capital budgets.
• Use ITOA, OMS, NIMS, Salesforce, and GIS to support daily operations and electric system performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of on-the-job safety, compliance requirements, and basic electrical concepts and theories.
• Ability to assess emergency situations, make sound decisions, motivate stakeholders, and manage priorities.
• Strong organizational, planning, coaching, and employee development skills.
• Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship. Rotating standby, shift work, additional hours, and occasional out-of-town or overnight travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Four or more years of experience in the electric industry, utilities, or skilled trades.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Project Management Professional, Certified Safety Professional, or Professional Engineer certification.
