Special Security Support Technician (National Security)

Location: Quantico, Virginia, United States; onsite

Salary: $75,000–$104,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the formulation, development, evaluation, and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
• Participate in antiterrorism, physical security, information security, industrial security, and personnel security programs.
• Research Department of Defense policy across multiple government agencies and prepare written recommendations for senior management.
• Draft official correspondence, memorandums, briefings, presentations, white papers, and security awareness materials.
• Monitor the DCSA Correspondence and Task Management System, ServiceNow, the Security Programs Database Repository, visitor access, and clearance certifications.
• Provide security assistance to field offices and participate in community working groups on security policy and awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3–10 years of experience conducting analysis, including experience within the last 2 years.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
• Ability to research government security policy and produce detailed written recommendations.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with senior management and government personnel.
