TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET, Azure) (Fintech/SaaS): Building a modern web application and high-performance calculation services for investment performance measurement and attribution with an accent on secure backend development, cloud engineering, and automated testing. Focus on designing APIs, integrating Azure-based services, and solving complex financial-domain problems across the full software development lifecycle.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; hybrid work with two days per week in the office

What you will do
- Build secure and valuable solutions for the Performance Product Area in collaboration with product managers, architects, engineers, and end users.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, automated testing, documentation, and support.
- Coordinate development and maintenance of the investment performance and attribution solution with product owners and other teams.
- Develop software for a modern SaaS web application connected to a high-performance backend calculation engine.
- Progressively take ownership of larger components and support the growth of less experienced colleagues.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of C#, .NET Core or .NET Framework, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with APIs and familiarity with CI/CD, trunk-based development, and Git using Azure DevOps.
- Interest in cloud engineering with Microsoft Azure.
- Understanding of automated testing and quality assurance for business-critical functionality.
- Ability to solve complex problems, coordinate with technical and non-technical colleagues, and learn complex financial domains.
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent experience; applications must be submitted in English.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of finance, investment performance and attribution, or investment-related instruments.
- Experience with the APL programming language; prior experience is not required.
