Senior .NET & Azure Developer (DevOps Engineering)

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands; candidates must be based in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the European Union and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. Applicants requiring relocation from another country cannot be considered.

Salary: €4,105–€5,862 gross per month for a 36-hour work week.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services with C# and .NET Core for DevOps and work-item management.
• Customize and extend Azure DevOps through administration, pipelines, APIs, and the Microsoft Graph REST API.
• Automate development, onboarding, and deployment processes for more than 400 engineering squads.
• Build scalable services using Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure App Service, Azure Storage Accounts, and Azure SQL.
• Collaborate with squad members, the product owner, scrum master, and solution architect.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with .NET development, C#, and .NET Core.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services, Azure DevOps, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and APIs.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps methods, the software development lifecycle, Git, source control, and branching strategies.
• Experience with MSSQL, Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform, and scripting with Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools and a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Legal right to work in the Netherlands and residence in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• Azure DevOps extensions, APIs, and services experience.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, integration platforms, or Power BI.
• AZ-400, AZ-204, or DP-900 certification.
• Experience with enterprise-scale rollouts, onboarding, or technology migrations.
• Leadership skills and the ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
