Clinical Research Coordinator (Cancer Therapeutic Innovation)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; primarily onsite with occasional remote work

Salary: $48,100–$54,400 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate clinical trials throughout the full study life cycle, from protocol receipt and start-up through site activation and close-out.
• Collect, manage, enter, and report patient clinical data, source documents, case report forms, adverse events, and data queries.
• Prepare and maintain participant and regulatory binders, study records, and required IRB and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate protocol assessments, tissue and other sample collection, preparation, shipment, and compliance with IATA/DOT requirements.
• Prepare for internal and external audits and monitoring visits while communicating with sponsors, regulatory authorities, and partner departments.
• Interact with study participants, screen for protocol eligibility, obtain informed consent for non-treatment trials, and register participants in clinical trial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of Dana-Farber Associate Clinical Research Coordinator experience.
• 0–1 years of experience in medical or scientific research, or a comparable technology-oriented business environment, preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, time-management, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, follow hospital guidelines, and work with staff, external contacts, patients, and research stakeholders.
• Ability to work onsite in Boston, with only occasional remote work.
