Technical Strategy Manager (Defense)

What you will do

• Challenge technical choices, roadmaps, and architecture proposed by R&D and Innovation teams.
• Conduct continuous technology watch to identify competitive advantages and emerging trends.
• Map and assess internal technical capabilities, identifying risks and dependencies.
• Contribute to defining the company's technology strategy and resource allocation.
• Produce independent analyses and recommendations for the COMEX leadership team.
• Track technical execution against strategic commitments.

Requirements

• 5-6 years of overall experience with an engineering degree.
• 2-3 years of hands-on technical execution followed by 2-3 years in a hybrid technical/business role.
• Demonstrated ability to understand architecture choices and assess technical trade-offs.
• Strong critical thinking and independence of judgment.
• Ability to translate technical issues into business implications and engage as a peer with senior engineers.
• Must be able to work on-site in Paris.
