SAP IS-U Billing & FI-CA Consultant (SAP Utilities)

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and create functional specifications for SAP IS-U Billing and FI-CA.
• Configure Billing & Invoicing, rate structures, RTP, schemas, scheduling, billing execution, and FI-CA processes.
• Provide second- and third-level support, troubleshoot defects and performance issues, and maintain process and configuration documentation.
• Prepare unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing, including validation of invoicing, partner-account, and balance migration data.
• Support SAP rollout, upgrade, migration, go-live, and hypercare activities in collaboration with Basis, Development, Middleware, and Finance teams.
• Advise business stakeholders through workshops, requirements gathering, and training.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an SAP IS-U Consultant.
• Strong knowledge of IS-U Billing, rates, schemas, RTP, FI-CA, and utilities processes for electricity and gas.
• Deep understanding of IS-U master data, including connection objects, premises, installations, and PoDs.
• Experience with SAP implementations, system integration, data integrity, process improvement, risk assessment, and change leadership.
• Familiarity with IDE/IDEXPF market communication and the ability to debug ABAP by reading logs and traces.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA for Utilities, especially S/4 FI-CA migration.
• Knowledge of AMI and smart-metering processes.
