Senior SOTIF Analyst (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Lead the design and development of SOTIF KPIs for autonomous vehicle systems.
• Work with R&D and validation teams to turn safety concepts into practical implementations.
• Initiate methods and tools for autonomous vehicle safety analysis.
• Identify safety risks, including driver behavior risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop SOTIF requirements and guidelines for system design, development, and testing.
• Collaborate with customers, regulators, and automotive industry stakeholders to advance acceptance of the methodology.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in software or systems development or product management.
• Significant experience building technical solutions with AI.
• Skills in Python or another scripting language, plus knowledge of SQL.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and design of experiments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, leadership, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of SOTIF concepts and standards, including ISO/PAS 21448 and UL 4600.
• Expertise in safety-critical system design and development processes.
• Familiarity with hazard analysis and risk assessment methods.
• Strong coding skills and experience with statistics tools.
