ML & Big Data Analyst (Machine Learning/Big Data): Processing and streamlining complex datasets, validating new data sources, and developing data quality and algorithm evaluation tools with an accent on quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical methods. Focus on improving data scientists’ algorithms, visualizing data, and building scalable infrastructure with Big Data Engineers.

What you will do
- Process and streamline complex datasets for the Core Data group.
- Research and validate new data sources.
- Apply quantitative analysis and data mining to generate insights.
- Develop tools to ensure the quality of data and algorithms.
- Evaluate and improve algorithms created by data scientists.
- Partner with Big Data Engineers to build scalable infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience in a technology company.
- At least 2 years of experience with Python scripting.
- Experience using SQL for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical principles, concepts, methods, and standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong teamwork, self-learning, analytical, research, and business skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or AWS infrastructure.
- Experience with data visualization tools and modules such as mlplot, matplotlib, and seaborn.
