Technical Program Manager (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Own the commercial delivery and project administration of multiple professional services engagements, ranging from short individual assignments to six-month multi-person projects.
• Advise senior customer stakeholders and maintain clarity, alignment, and confidence throughout delivery.
• Manage delivery risks, cross-functional workstreams, project reporting, governance, scope, timelines, and customer outcomes.
• Identify account expansion opportunities, influence future roadmaps, and support continued adoption of the Databricks platform.
• Improve delivery best practices and mentor junior members of the Professional Services team.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex, enterprise-scale data or AI/ML projects in customer-facing environments.
• Experience managing projects with teams of up to five people and contract values exceeding $0.5 million.
• Ability to influence senior customer stakeholders, including C-suite executives, and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with data lakehouse or modern data platforms.
• Experience managing multiple technical and business workstreams, delivery risks, stakeholder expectations, and executive governance.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies, as well as change control, Statements of Work, and margin protection.

Nice to have

• PMI, PRINCE, or Agile certification.
• Experience identifying service expansion or upsell opportunities during delivery engagements.
• Product-oriented mindset or experience working closely with product teams.
