Senior Government Affairs Manager (MedTech)

What you will do

• Define and lead the Saudi country-level public policy and government affairs strategy for the medical technology sector.
• Monitor legislative and political developments and assess their implications for healthcare, industrial, procurement, and medical technology policies.
• Represent the organization in discussions with policymakers, government officials, public institutions, trade associations, coalitions, and external forums.
• Build trusted relationships with senior government and external stakeholders and represent the sector in policy debates and negotiations.
• Advise country and regional leadership on policy, institutional, access, and innovation matters.
• Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Communications, Legal, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of government affairs or relevant experience and at least 15 years of total work experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi legislative, regulatory, political, and policymaking processes, including trade relationships.
• Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare policy, with knowledge of RHQ, economic participation, SFDA, national procurement, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to engage government stakeholders, business executives, policymakers, multilateral organizations, and external constituencies.
• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Professional communication skills in both Arabic and English are required.

Nice to have

• Leadership or governance experience in trade associations or external policy forums.
• Experience with healthcare system reform, value-based healthcare, sustainability, digital health, data governance, or healthcare modernization.
• Generative and agentic AI expertise for policy intelligence, stakeholder engagement, and strategic foresight.
