Electrical Power R&D Engineer (Semiconductors)

Location: Rehovot, Israel; onsite role with 10% travel

What you will do

• Lead the design of AC and DC power modules for electronic modules.
• Develop electrical power distribution, switching, and protection systems up to 20 kW.
• Develop low-voltage AC-DC power supply systems, electric drives, and controls for industrial modules and sensors.
• Select, integrate, and test electrical and power supply modules and vendors.
• Manage projects involving external electronics and electrical development companies.
• Perform hands-on laboratory testing, generate engineering reports, and resolve technical issues with cross-functional groups.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of electrical design experience.
• Knowledge of SEMI, UL, and CE safety certifications.
• Knowledge of electrical and wiring standards in industrial environments.
• Project management, communication, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
• Electrical license is preferred.
