Social Media & Content Assistant (AI)

Location: South Africa; remote

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day content workflows across YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Repurpose long-form YouTube videos into short-form videos and reels using Opus Clip or similar tools.
• Edit and format videos using Camtasia or comparable software.
• Create and refine captions, scripts, titles, descriptions, and other social media content.
• Research posting times, schedule and publish content, and recommend tools to improve workflow efficiency.
• Work with the business owner to apply the preferred style, tone, voice, and feedback.

Requirements

• Highly proficient written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Experience with YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, social media content, video editing, or content management.
• Comfort working with video content and short-form video.
• Familiarity with Camtasia or similar video editing software and Opus Clip or comparable AI-powered clipping tools.
• Experience using ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools for content creation and optimization.
• Ability to work independently, manage an organized repeatable workflow, and apply direction and feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience managing YouTube content for a business, professional, financial, or personal brand.
• Experience managing a workflow from long-form video to short-form clips, captions, optimization, scheduling, and publishing.
• Experience with additional social media management or content scheduling platforms.
