What you will do
- Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, switches, routers, and firewalls for the local site.
- Manage physical and virtual servers, Active Directory, backup systems, UPS equipment, cabling, and the server room.
- Provide local escalation support for network, hardware, and server-related issues.
- Coordinate with local IT service providers, ISPs, hardware vendors, and manage IT inventory and assets.
- Act as the local bridge to global IT by implementing standards, security policies, and system updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in network administration and IT infrastructure support for sites or offices.
- Fluent Arabic and professional working proficiency in English required.
- Practical experience with routers, switches, firewalls, Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware or Hyper-V.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Teams, with strong troubleshooting, ownership, and independent working skills.
