TL;DR
Quality Team Lead (Telecom): Defining enterprise quality strategy and governance while leading functional, automation, performance, and UAT teams for telecom platforms with an accent on BSS/OSS quality, test governance, and release readiness. Focus on managing complex test programs, coordinating vendors and stakeholders, and driving defect, risk, KPI, and go-live management.

Location: Cairo, Egypt; in-person collaboration is prioritized

What you will do

  • Define and implement the enterprise quality strategy and governance framework.
  • Lead functional, automation, performance, and UAT testing teams.
  • Define and monitor quality KPIs and SLAs, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop test strategies, plans, estimates, resource plans, and regression management practices.
  • Coordinate UAT, release validation, defect management, and go-live readiness reviews.
  • Manage stakeholders and vendors, provide executive reporting, and lead escalation and steering committee activities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications domain.
  • At least 3 years leading QA or test organizations.
  • Strong experience with telecom platforms, including BSS, OSS, billing, CRM, order management, provisioning, inventory, assurance, charging, rating, mediation, and number portability.
  • Experience with mobile, fixed, broadband, enterprise services, and customer self-service portals.
  • Experience in executive reporting, business and IT alignment, vendor management, and cross-functional leadership.
