Technical Training & Quality Manager (AI Data)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 per year, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Design and deliver technical training programs, curricula, learning paths, assessments, certifications, and refresher modules for AI data and annotation teams.
• Train teams on AI/ML concepts, LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, data annotation, model evaluation, prompt engineering, RLHF, and AI response quality.
• Own quality frameworks, standards, KPIs, calibration processes, audits, and corrective and preventive actions across AI data projects.
• Provide technical guidance for annotation, LLM evaluation, human feedback, NLP classification, multimedia annotation, benchmarking, red teaming, and data validation workflows.
• Partner with clients, Operations, Program Management, Engineering, Data Science, and QA teams on launches, calibration sessions, quality reviews, and readiness assessments.
• Use analytics to measure training ROI and quality improvement while driving automation, process efficiency, and standardization across delivery teams.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in AI/ML, data operations, data annotation, AI training, quality management, technical learning and development, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and LLMs, with experience in AI data, annotation, or model evaluation projects.
• Experience managing training and quality teams in a high-volume delivery environment.
• Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, calibration, quality audits, process improvement, stakeholder management, and client communication.
• Ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear training content and facilitate assessments, simulations, and certification programs.

Nice to have

• Certifications in AI/ML, Quality Management, Six Sigma, instructional design, or technical training.
• Experience with AI platforms, annotation tools, LLM evaluation frameworks, or data-quality platforms.
• Exposure to Python, SQL, analytics or BI tools, and automation.
