Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote from Armenia

Salary: $5,200–$5,900 gross per month

What you will do

• Own either the observability or CI/CD platform area, including its architecture, reliability, roadmap, and operations.
• Drive technical initiatives from requirements gathering and design through implementation, production rollout, and ongoing operational ownership.
• Design scalable and reliable platform architectures covering topology, integrations, and resilience.
• Support developers operating applications on on-premise servers and Kubernetes with Helm, including deployment, monitoring, metrics, alerts, and logs.
• Automate provisioning, maintenance, and repetitive operational work using scripts and platform tooling.
• Lead production incident resolution, post-mortems, on-call improvements, technical reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in closely related responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ownership of technical initiatives from requirements and design through production delivery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux, Prometheus-based monitoring, CI/CD, Docker, container registries, Ansible, Git, and Bash or Python automation.
• Production and on-call experience, including incident diagnosis, service restoration, post-mortems, and systemic fixes.
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers and operating applications on Kubernetes.
• Solid hands-on experience in at least two areas: VictoriaMetrics/Prometheus at scale, log pipelines, Jenkins pipelines, Harbor/Nexus, Kubernetes operations, or Grafana.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytics and data science platforms such as JupyterHub, Airflow, Tableau, MLflow, or Airbyte.
• Remote development environments, AI agent execution environments, bare-metal Kubernetes, Flux/GitOps, Terraform, or Sentry on-premise.
• Experience with ClickHouse or MongoDB.
