Java Developer (AI Agent)

Location: On-site in Tashkent, Yunusabad District

Salary: From $1,000 per month before taxes

What you will do

• Build AI agents and agent-based workflows using Java and Spring Boot.
• Integrate AI agents and LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar services into backend applications.
• Implement tool and function calling, agent tools, memory, context management, and multi-step agent workflows.
• Develop REST APIs and microservices supported by PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, and Git.
• Use Claude Code and OpenAI Codex for development, debugging, refactoring, and automation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience with Java 17+.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, OOP, SOLID, design patterns, and microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/SQL and Git.
• Basic or intermediate knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Understanding of Agentic AI development and hands-on experience building AI agents.
• Experience integrating AI agents into Java/Spring Boot applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Basic Python knowledge.
• Experience building autonomous AI assistants or agent-based automation systems.
