Director, Enterprise Performance & Reporting

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States. Specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area are also referenced. US citizenship required.

Salary: $174,000–$275,000 annually; $216,000–$324,000 annually for specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area.

What you will do

• Own the consolidated enterprise performance management and reporting system across business units and corporate functions.
• Define and govern enterprise KPIs, metric hierarchies, calculation logic, thresholds, ownership models, and reporting cadences.
• Develop executive dashboards, scorecards, business insights, and board-ready reporting for operating and business reviews.
• Integrate strategic objectives, OKRs, Strategy Deployment Process priorities, portfolio health, customer outcomes, and financial performance into one management framework.
• Partner with Engineering and IT on data architecture, pipelines, reporting platforms, automation, AI-enabled analytics, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
• Lead and develop analysts or reporting professionals while influencing senior leaders to adopt common performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, engineering, data analytics, or a related field.
• 10–12+ years of progressive experience in executive dashboards, KPI governance, performance management, or business insights, including at least 3 years with enterprise-wide or multi-business-unit scope.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams and practitioner networks.
• Expertise in enterprise performance management, KPI development, metric governance, scorecards, dashboard design, strategic planning, and financial analysis.
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, plus working knowledge of AI-enabled reporting and analytics.
• US citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or another continuous improvement business system.
• Knowledge of earned value and project performance measures.
• Experience establishing an enterprise reporting or metrics system where definitions, governance, and reporting cadence did not previously exist.
