Sr. Software Development Manager, Relational Database Services (AI)

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and delivery of the AWS Console experience for hirify.global RDS.
• Lead customer-facing and internal operations console development for managing and operating large-scale database fleets.
• Incorporate agentic AI through assistive guidance, contextual insights, and safe, scoped automated actions.
• Build a next-generation operations console and replace legacy operator tooling.
• Lead, hire, develop, and retain multiple engineering teams, including managers and senior engineers.
• Partner with AWS Console, design, product, program management, and RDS platform teams on long-term product and technical direction.

Requirements

• Experience in software engineering and engineering team management.
• Experience planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications.
