TL;DR

Middle Backend Golang Engineer (Golang/AWS): Building reliable, scalable, and secure backend services, RESTful APIs, event-driven integrations, and distributed microservices with an accent on concurrency, message reliability, API security, and enterprise platform integrations. Focus on designing asynchronous workflows, improving system performance and reliability, and maintaining integrations with platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, and Genesys Cloud.

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; remote work culture.

What you will do

Develop, maintain, and enhance Golang backend services, RESTful APIs, and data contracts.
Implement asynchronous, event-driven communication with reliable messaging, error handling, and backward compatibility.
Contribute to distributed systems, microservices, performance improvements, and resource optimization.
Build secure integrations with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceNow, Genesys Cloud, and other enterprise platforms.
Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Occasionally contribute to React-based frontend functionality.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Professional experience building backend applications and services with Golang, including concurrency and asynchronous workflows.
Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ.
Experience with AWS, cloud-native environments, RESTful APIs, secure authentication and authorization, and service integrations.
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated unit and integration testing.

Nice to have

Experience with React, TypeScript, Protobuf, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Keycloak, Auth0, Okta, or similar IAM solutions.
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or other monitoring and observability tools.
