TL;DR
Fullstack Engineer (PHP) (PHP/React/TypeScript): Building and scaling core systems and internal tools, including resilient PHP backend services, Stripe-driven billing infrastructure, and responsive frontend interfaces with an accent on billing systems, application management, and production reliability. Focus on designing REST integrations, strengthening E2E test coverage, modernizing legacy code, and maintaining observability across SQL and CI/CD workflows.
Location: Athens, Greece; hybrid workplace

What you will do
- Build and maintain resilient PHP backend services for billing and application management systems.
- Develop responsive and accessible frontend interfaces with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Implement E2E automated tests, logging, retries, and failure-recovery mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Product, Finance, CRM, Revenue Operations, Support, and Business Analysis teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Modernize legacy code, improve code quality, and evaluate engineering tools and frameworks.
- Debug production issues and maintain SQL schemas, Git workflows, and CI/CD processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong PHP backend development skills.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, REST APIs, and system integrations.
- Practical experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, automated testing, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English; hybrid work in Athens, Greece.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS.
- Exposure to Stripe, payment gateways, and subscription lifecycle management.
- Experience refactoring legacy systems or working with high-volume, data-intensive applications.
