TL;DR
Fullstack MERN Developer (MERN): Maintaining and scaling an established SaaS application while building secure Data Export and Analytics APIs for Microsoft Power BI and other external platforms with an accent on multi-tenant security, large-data processing, and AWS infrastructure. Focus on designing resilient asynchronous workflows, optimizing MongoDB queries and aggregation pipelines, and improving production reliability, observability, and performance.
Location: Remote from Latin America, with listed locations in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, and Peru; availability during U.S. West Coast / Los Angeles business hours required

What you will do
- Maintain, debug, and scale an established MERN production application.
- Build secure Data Export and Analytics APIs for Microsoft Power BI and other external platforms.
- Design large-data workflows using MongoDB cursors, batching, Node.js streams, CSV exports, and Amazon S3.
- Implement multi-tenant authentication, authorization, API credentials, rate limiting, and organization-level data isolation.
- Develop end-to-end features across React, Redux, Node.js, and Express, including third-party integrations.
- Improve performance, security, reliability, logging, monitoring, and observability while resolving production issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing full-stack applications with the MERN stack.
- Advanced experience with MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js, Redux, Mongoose, and production-grade REST APIs.
- Experience with data-access, reporting, analytics, or data-export APIs and large-dataset processing.
- Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, multi-tenant security, concurrency, retries, idempotency, timeouts, and failure recovery.
- Strong AWS experience, particularly with EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFront, and WAF.
- Fluent English and availability to work during U.S. West Coast / Los Angeles business hours are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Tableau, Looker, OData, or other analytics integrations.
- Experience with SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, background workers, or production deployment pipelines.
- Experience integrating Twilio, SendGrid, Stripe, Microsoft Graph, Azure, Okta, SAML, or Slack.
- Experience with AI/LLM integrations, embeddings, vector search, or retrieval-augmented generation.
- Previous experience with SaaS, B2B software, or multi-tenant environments.
