Software QA Engineer/Intern (AI-Powered)

Location: On-site in Almaty, Kazakhstan

What you will do

• Write automation code and work in real software repositories.
• Develop automated tests with Playwright and Selenium.
• Perform API testing and work with databases, logs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design tests, analyze requirements, and perform exploratory testing of complex business logic.
• Use AI tools for code generation, test data creation, and requirements analysis while evaluating their limitations.
• Participate in code review and progress through a structured 4–5 month mentoring program.

Requirements

• Degree or final-year study in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• JavaScript or Java knowledge at a junior developer level.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• English level B1 or higher.
• Based in Almaty and available for 40 hours per week.
• Availability for training, the internship, and the full-time role that follows.
