Associate Specialist Analytical Method Validation (Quality Control)

What you will do

• Coordinate laboratory workflows and priorities to ensure analytical testing is completed and reported on schedule.
• Execute, review, and approve analytical method validation and verification activities, protocols, reports, and results.
• Initiate and oversee analytical method validation projects, analytical changes, scientific investigations, deviations, and CAPAs.
• Interpret data, results, and trend analyses, providing technical justification for atypical results and deviations.
• Train laboratory personnel, mentor interns, contribute as an analytical and technical SME, and support internal and external audits.
• Improve quality control processes, laboratory efficiency, and waste reduction while maintaining GxP, safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory environment.
• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English are required.
• Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of analytical methods and techniques within the relevant laboratory scope.
• Experience with analytical method validation and verification is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, training, coaching, decision-making, prioritization, and knowledge-transfer skills, with an accurate, proactive, flexible, and quality-focused approach.
