TL;DR
Consultant – Onsite Deployment Unit (ODU) (Pharmaceutical Forecasting): Owning and developing commercial forecasting models for pharmaceutical products and portfolios with an accent on scenario planning, quantitative analysis, and strategic insight generation. Focus on challenging forecast assumptions, evaluating market scenarios, aligning commercial and finance stakeholders, and presenting recommendations to senior client leaders.
Location: Porto Salvo, Portugal; project deployments may occur anywhere in Europe, with occasional on-site presence and short-notice travel.

What you will do
- Own, develop, maintain, and enhance commercial forecasting models for pharmaceutical products and portfolios.
- Review assumptions, analyze business drivers, identify risks and opportunities, and conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Analyze internal and external data to support forecasting, planning cycles, business reviews, and strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with commercial, finance, market access, brand, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align forecasts.
- Present findings, assumptions, implications, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Act as an embedded consultant and trusted advisor while managing multiple projects, timelines, and client deliverables.
Requirements
- Approximately 4+ years of experience in commercial forecasting, business analytics, consulting, or a related pharmaceutical role.
- Strong experience building, managing, and interpreting commercial forecasts and conducting scenario analyses.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, commercial drivers, and complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English required; willingness to travel at short notice required.
Nice to have
- Experience in brand planning, business planning, performance management, strategic analytics, pharmaceutical commercial operations, or life sciences consulting.
- Experience with forecast model development, maintenance, scenario planning, or business case development.
- Additional European languages.
