Lead Analyst, Technical Search (SEO/AEO/GEO)

Location: NY, New York, 140 East 45th St, United States

Salary: $79,100–$131,800 annually, depending on experience and geographic location, plus eligibility for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise Technical SEO, Answer Engine Optimization, and Generative Engine Optimization across priority brands and digital properties.
• Develop the enterprise AI Search Technical Roadmap to improve AI readiness, machine readability, discoverability, and search visibility.
• Establish technical search standards, governance frameworks, structured data, schema markup, and entity optimization practices.
• Audit crawling, indexing, rendering, site architecture, internal linking, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and overall site health.
• Guide redirects, site migrations, platform transitions, automation, analytics, and large-scale digital initiatives.
• Partner with business, content, analytics, product, UX, and technology teams while educating stakeholders on technical search best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of Technical SEO experience, including enterprise-level initiatives across large brands, complex ecosystems, or multi-domain environments.
• Strong knowledge of crawling, rendering, indexing, ranking systems, website architecture, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, structured data, schema markup, and JSON-LD.
• Experience with technical SEO audits, log file analysis, advanced diagnostics, AI-powered search experiences, answer engines, and large language models.
• Experience using AI tools, automation, APIs, analytics, SQL, Python, and AI-assisted development platforms to build workflows, scripts, agents, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with SEO, AEO, analytics, crawling, CMS, and automation tools such as BrightEdge, SEMrush, Conductor, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Screaming Frog, Botify, AEM, Drupal, and TeamSite.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, highly regulated industries, or large enterprise environments.
• Experience with AEO platforms such as Profound, Scrunch, Bluefish, or Evertune.
