Product Designer, Entry-Level (2027 Start) (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA or New York, NY, United States. Full-time start in 2027; relocation support is available as needed.

Salary: $105,400–$155,000 USD annually, localized according to employee work location.

What you will do

• Design and ship product improvements for Consumer, Merchant, Dasher, Ads & Promos, or Customer Experience & Integrity teams.
• Use AI to explore concepts, create high-fidelity prototypes, and shape smarter, more intuitive product experiences.
• Prototype concepts, test them with real users, and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, product managers, researchers, and data partners.
• Develop end-to-end design ownership while contributing to how AI is used in the design practice.

Requirements

• Graduation with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design or a technology-related field by Summer 2027.
• Availability to start full-time in 2027.
• Portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, and user-centered problem solving through school, internship, or side projects.
• Portfolio case study showing the application of AI in the design process or the design of an AI-powered experience.
• Experience using Figma and AI-driven tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to create prototypes.
• Ability to communicate through prototypes, make decisions, ask for help, and iterate quickly.
