Location: Ruimsig, Gauteng, South Africa; onsite at Ruimsig Primary School

What you will do
- Support Resident Teachers in delivering engaging, technology-enhanced enquiry-based lessons.
- Help create rigorous learning goals, provide student feedback, and promote academic engagement.
- Assess student progress with Resident Teachers and adapt instructional content and delivery methods.
- Communicate with parents through email, telephone, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, collaborative teams, supervision duties, and some morning, evening, and weekend events.
- Take part in daily meetings, weekly professional development, instructional coaching, and ongoing reflection.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.Ed and entering the third or fourth year of study, or completing a Bachelor’s degree and PGCE in 2027.
- B.Ed Foundation Phase qualification or study focus.
- Must not be a qualified teacher at the start of 2027.
- Provisional SACE registration.
- English and Mathematics teaching experience or curriculum knowledge.
- Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, use technology for instruction, and respond constructively to feedback.
Nice to have
- Experience with Singapore Maths and THRASS English.
- Experience or understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives.
