What you will do
- Support Resident teachers in delivering engaging, technology-supported enquiry-based lessons for Upper Primary students.
- Help set ambitious learning goals, provide feedback, and support students in achieving academic excellence.
- Assess student progress with Resident teachers and use assessment data to adjust instruction.
- Participate in feedback meetings, daily team meetings, professional development, instructional coaching, and school-wide learning activities.
- Communicate with parents by email, telephone, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities, collaborative committees, supervision duties, and selected morning, evening, and weekend events.
Requirements
- Currently entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Education, or completing a PGCE in 2027.
- Must not be a qualified teacher at the start of 2027.
- Specialisation in the Intermediate or Senior Phase is required.
- Provisional SACE registration is required.
- English and Mathematics teaching experience or curriculum knowledge.
- Ability to use technology for instruction and collaborate effectively with Resident teachers, Apprentice teachers, and Deans.
Nice to have
- Experience with Singapore Maths and THRASS English.
- Understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives.
