What you will do
- Support resident teachers in delivering engaging, technology-supported foundation-phase lessons.
- Help create a rigorous enquiry-based learning environment and set ambitious goals for students.
- Provide feedback to students and use assessment data to adjust instructional content and delivery.
- Attend feedback meetings, daily team meetings, professional development sessions, coaching, and organisation-wide learning activities.
- Communicate with parents through email, telephone, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, collaborative committees, supervision duties, and selected morning, evening, or weekend events.
Requirements
- Currently entering the third or fourth year of a Bachelor of Education in 2027, or completing a bachelor's degree and PGCE in 2027.
- Must not be a qualified teacher at the start of 2027.
- Provisional SACE registration is required.
- English and Mathematics teaching experience or curriculum knowledge.
- Ability to connect with foundation-phase children, collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively, and use technology for instruction.
- Commitment to professional development, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Experience with Singapore Maths and THRASS English.
- Understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives.
