What you will do
- Support Resident Teachers in delivering engaging, technology-enhanced foundation-phase lessons.
- Help create rigorous learning goals, provide student feedback, and promote academic excellence.
- Assess student progress with Resident Teachers and adapt instructional content and delivery.
- Attend feedback meetings, professional development sessions, coaching, team meetings, and reflection activities.
- Communicate with parents through email, telephone, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Participate in co-curricular programming, collaborative committees, supervision duties, and some morning, evening, and weekend events.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor of Education and entering the third or fourth year of study in 2027, or holding a bachelor’s degree and completing a PGCE in 2027.
- Will not be a qualified teacher at the start of 2027.
- Provisionally registered with SACE.
- Teaching experience or curriculum knowledge in English and Mathematics.
- Ability to use technology for instruction and collaborate effectively with teachers and deans.
- Strong English communication skills are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Singapore Maths and THRASS English.
- Experience or understanding of Cambridge curriculum objectives.
