Legal & Licensing Lead (iGaming)

Location: Office work; 5/2 schedule.

hirify.global is hiring for a legal and licensing leadership role supporting international iGaming clients.

What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of gaming licence applications across Curaçao, Anjouan, Tobique, Costa Rica, Kahnawà, and other jurisdictions, including submissions, documentation, regulator communication, renewals, reporting, fit-and-proper checks, ownership-change notifications, and audits.
• Monitor regulatory developments, including the Curaçao licensing reform and CGA direct licensing regime, and adapt compliance frameworks.
• Advise clients on business and ownership structures, regulatory and banking requirements, licensing, ongoing operations, GDPR, geo-blocking, and restricted or prohibited territories.
• Draft and review Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policies, Bonus Terms and Conditions, Responsible Gambling Policies, and other client-facing documents.
• Build, manage, mentor, and scale a legal team; set KPIs, allocate workloads, and ensure consistent legal deliverables.
• Handle corporate structuring, M&A support, legal opinions, risk assessments, and commercial agreements covering gaming content, aggregators, B2B software, partnerships, white-label arrangements, and PSP/payment services.

Requirements

• University degree in Law.
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in iGaming and licensing.
• Hands-on experience independently obtaining and maintaining offshore gaming licences, including Curaçao, Anjouan, Tobique, Kahnawà, and other jurisdictions.
• Experience working with international iGaming operators, aggregators, and B2B providers.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements across key gaming jurisdictions, including the current Curaçao licensing reform.
• Knowledge of responsible gambling principles and requirements and strong knowledge of corporate law.
• Experience managing, building, and scaling legal teams.
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
• English and Russian are both mandatory.
