TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AI): Building and operating Azure-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and self-service platform capabilities for data and AI/ML workloads with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, security, observability, and production reliability. Focus on automating compute and machine learning resource provisioning, operating Kubernetes-based systems, and evolving delivery infrastructure for increasingly LLM-driven and agentic workloads.
Location: Onsite in Kraków, Poland

What you will do
- Design, automate, and operate Azure-based cloud infrastructure and platform services for data, engineering, and AI/ML workloads.
- Build governed, scalable, and auditable environments using Infrastructure as Code with tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Develop secure CI/CD pipelines and self-service capabilities for provisioning compute, data, and machine learning resources.
- Embed security, compliance, data governance, quality, monitoring, alerting, and operational practices into the platform.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and improve platform performance, scalability, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Partner with platform leadership, engineers, and internal customer teams while contributing to technical standards, documentation, and onboarding.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, including exposure to data or AI/ML infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS or Azure core compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD tooling, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in at least one automation language: Python, Go, or Bash.
- Knowledge of cloud security and networking fundamentals, production monitoring, observability, incident response, and reliability practices.
- Ability to own platform components end to end and collaborate effectively across teams. Ability to travel up to 10%.
Nice to have
- Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or biotechnology.
- Experience with regulated industries, HIPAA, GxP, SOX, and rigorous data governance requirements.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
