Senior Payroll Consultant (Aurion)

Location: Office locations in Sydney, Melbourne (preferred), and/or Brisbane, Australia; occasional business travel required.

What you will do

• Configure and administer Aurion modules including Core HR, Payroll, Position Management, Recruitment, ESS, MSS, and Leave Management.
• Translate business requirements into workflows, business rules, forms, system parameters, and platform enhancements.
• Manage data extraction, cleansing, transformation, migration, validation, reconciliation, and reporting using Aurion tools and SQL.
• Design, build, test, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations between Aurion and finance, rostering, recruitment, identity, learning, and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, vendors, and implementation partners through requirements gathering, workshops, training, and user support.
• Prepare test plans and scripts, execute SIT and UAT, support releases, and maintain governance and system documentation.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Aurion Payroll, including module and workflow configuration.
• 5+ years of Aurion consulting, administration, or implementation experience.
• Experience with data migration, transformation, reconciliation, reporting, analytics, APIs, web services, ETL, middleware, and file-based interfaces.
• Experience delivering HRIS transformation or system enhancement projects in large enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements is highly desirable.
