Engineering Intern (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Analyze, simulate, and physically test hardware modifications for deposition systems and CVD process chambers.
• Design or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, drawings, specifications, tooling, and fixturing under supervision.
• Coordinate procurement and assembly of mechanical components and equipment.
• Perform engineering analysis, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and apply engineering processes to resolve problems.
• Prepare engineering test reports and product-release documentation.
• Support the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies throughout the product life cycle.

Requirements

• Core knowledge of structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience or knowledge in hardware design and prototyping.
• Knowledge of mechanical testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Knowledge of vacuum system maintenance and calibration.
• Intern or student status.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of semiconductor tool architecture.
