Senior Device Development Engineer (Drug Delivery)

Location: East Greenbush, New York, United States. Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Salary: $75,300–$143,900 annually.

What you will do

• Lead front-end innovation, scenario planning, and early-stage design programs for drug delivery devices and combination products.
• Monitor device technologies, industry trends, competitors, patient needs, and internal pipeline requirements to identify innovation opportunities.
• Develop device strategy proposals that balance patient needs, drug product constraints, commercial considerations, and portfolio priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and manage early device development programs with internal stakeholders and external strategic partners.
• Conduct technical feasibility evaluations, due diligence assessments, exploratory research, and foundational user research.
• Represent device development teams at industry meetings and drive strategic alignment across therapeutic areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience for the Senior Device Development Engineer level; level is determined by relevant qualifications.
• Experience managing design history files in accordance with 21 CFR 820.30.
• Strong project management, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite in East Greenbush, New York, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
