Process Engineer II (SDF)

Location: On-site in Lexington, Massachusetts / Durham, North Carolina, United States. The role involves working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, including extended periods on your feet and operating manufacturing equipment.

What you will do

• Improve and develop process systems and equipment for core manufacturing processes.
• Coach and mentor engineering personnel, Process Maintenance Technicians, and Technical Area Specialists.
• Lead cross-functional process improvement projects and support event response activities.
• Develop improvement plans using Six Sigma Green Belt concepts and manage project budgets.
• Establish and maintain procedures, maintenance plans, and operational standards.
• Support global collaboration and knowledge sharing across OFP sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of engineering experience in maintenance, design, or process improvement is preferred.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems, mechanical systems, control systems, SCADA, and PLCs is preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to move equipment or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds and work on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours.
• Ability to work around hazardous materials, loud noise, confined spaces, elevated heights, and cold environments when required.
