Salary: $19.00–$27.00 per hour, with potential premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Process member purchases, prescription orders, pharmacy merchandise, and third-party insurance claims.
• Enter prescription data, maintain patient records, and resolve issues such as rejected claims, out-of-stock items, partial fills, and refill authorizations.
• Fill prescriptions by counting, measuring, mixing, labeling, and using scanning or automated dispensing equipment.
• Assist pharmacists and patients with prescription orders, over-the-counter products, pickup, and member concerns.
• Maintain pharmacy merchandise presentation, inventory, pricing, documentation, claims, returns, and a safe work environment.
• Follow hirify.global policies, pharmacy regulations, ethics standards, and applicable state and federal requirements.

Requirements

• Must meet all New York State requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, including age, qualification, registration, certification, or licensure requirements where applicable.
• Must obtain national pharmacy technician certification from PTCB through PTCE or NHA through ExCPT within nine months of starting.
• Ability to process prescriptions, enter pharmacy data, handle insurance claims, and maintain required records.
• Ability to provide patient and member service while following HIPAA, pharmacy, and company procedures.
• Ability to collaborate with pharmacists, managers, coworkers, members, and business partners.
