TL;DR
Senior Pre-Sales Engineer (Identity Security): Demonstrating and integrating authorization solutions for enterprise customers with an accent on PBAC/ABAC, identity ecosystems, and agentic AI security. Focus on leading technical discovery, managing Kubernetes- and AWS-based POCs, and mapping complex authorization capabilities to executive business value.
Location: Remote within the USA, East Coast region; travel up to 50% within the assigned region for onsite customer engagements and partner events.
Salary: $190,000–$230,000 OTE annually

What you will do
- Lead technical discovery sessions and deep-dive discussions with architects, security engineers, and business owners.
- Present and demonstrate the platform and its technical differentiators.
- Own proof-of-concept projects from scoping and environment configuration through policy building and executive readouts.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers throughout complex sales cycles, RFx responses, and technical solution alignment.
- Map PBAC and ABAC use cases to business outcomes such as revenue growth, risk reduction, and agentic AI security.
- Guide integrations with identity providers, IGA and PAM platforms, API gateways, and data platforms.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on identity security experience in sales engineering, solution architecture, or a similar technical pre-sales role.
- Deep knowledge of PBAC and ABAC; familiarity with OPA/Rego is preferred.
- Proficiency with OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and OAuth 2.0; familiarity with AuthZEN, SPIFFE, and SPIRE is preferred.
- Experience with Linux or Windows, containerization, Kubernetes, Helm charts, and AWS ECS.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, Apigee, Kong, Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL.
- Familiarity with securing AI agents, MCP, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph, non-human identities, on-behalf-of execution, and agent discovery.
Nice to have
- CISSP, CISA, AWS, or Azure certifications.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS AI Practitioner, Azure AZ-900, AI-900, or DP-900.
