Insider Threat Investigator II (Cybersecurity)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Full-time onsite position.

What you will do

• Lead high-impact insider threat investigations from detection through resolution.
• Advance the Insider Threat Program by improving investigative methods, detection capabilities, tooling, and alerting.
• Analyze complex and large datasets to produce actionable intelligence and risk-reduction recommendations.
• Collaborate with security, legal, human resources, digital forensics, and business teams.
• Develop detection strategies, investigative playbooks, and program enhancements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in insider threat, corporate investigations, cybersecurity, or a related investigative field.
• Experience managing complex cases, analyzing data, presenting evidence, and delivering risk-reduction recommendations.
• Knowledge of UEBA, DLP, digital forensics, incident response, threat-informed defense, cybersecurity principles, and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, CASB, PAM, intrusion prevention and detection systems, and related security platforms.
• Strong analytical, communication, ethical decision-making, and collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 5–7 years of insider threat investigation experience, including law enforcement, intelligence, military, or corporate investigative experience.
• Experience securing AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud environments and relevant certifications.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript.
• CERT ITPM, GCFA, CFCE, CFI, CFSR, CFE, or similar credentials.
