Salesforce Administrator

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid with onsite work as needed and remote work limited to a Harvard registered state

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day support, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements for multiple Salesforce implementations.
• Manage roles, permissions, profiles, security settings, access, and sharing across multiple Salesforce organizations.
• Create and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, flows, automations, and approval processes.
• Maintain data integrity through data loading, imports, deduplication, and Salesforce Data Loader operations.
• Support integrations with internal and third-party solutions, research platform updates, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, consultants, vendors, and internal customers throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least two years of post-secondary education or relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years of Salesforce administration experience with an Enterprise or higher edition of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Education Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud.
• Salesforce Administrator Certification required.
• Knowledge of Salesforce standard objects, data models, customization, configuration, reports, dashboards, and Salesforce Flow.
• Experience moving metadata from sandboxes to production, importing data, documenting processes, and resolving technical issues.
• Must be able to work in a Harvard registered state when working remotely; Harvard cannot provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Marketing Cloud, Pardot, AppExchange solutions, or higher education environments.
• Experience with iterative agile development and tools such as Jira.
• Familiarity with FormAssembly, OwnBackup/Salesforce Backup, or Conga Composer.
