Tax Manager

Location: Altrincham, hybrid

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per annum, plus benefits.

hirify.global is recruiting for a fast-growing consultancy expanding its tax team in the North West.

What you will do

• Manage and develop members of the tax team while working with tax partners.
• Act as a key client contact on tax matters.
• Advise OMBs on corporation tax planning, R&D claims, property transactions, group reorganisations, capital allowances, EMI option schemes, and international tax matters.
• Advise business owners on income tax planning, business and property transactions, and inheritance tax and estate planning.
• Manage HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis, and technical research.
• Supervise and review compliance work for larger and more complex corporate clients.

Requirements

• ACA, CTA, or ACCA qualified, or working towards a qualification.
• Experience engaging effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Experience managing or working with junior team members.
• Experience in tax advisory and compliance work across corporate and personal tax matters.
