QA / Test Engineer

Location: 100% remote; Florianópolis HQ available for optional office use.

What you will do

• Author and execute functional test cases for account creation, call/challenge/pool flows, and outcome resolution.
• Test the SECURITY DEFINER RPC layer instead of accessing tables directly.
• Support settlement-path and money-movement testing for high-risk workflows.
• Exercise age-gating and identity-verification flows when Persona credentials are available.
• Use seeded test accounts and data, follow exact handle formatting, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Re-test fixes after remediation.

Requirements

• Solid QA or test-engineering experience with modern web applications.
• SQL and Postgres experience for validating data and results.
• Working knowledge of Next.js or comparable JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with API or RPC testing.
• Careful, detail-oriented test execution and clear written English for reproducible defect reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience testing payments, wallets, or transactions.
• Familiarity with Supabase or Vercel.
• Interest in real-money-platform testing and progressing toward settlement work.
